Belmont Voters will also have a chance to vote on Belmont Measure DD — the Belmont Business License Tax Reform Measure. I encourage you to vote YES on this important measure. It is a significant and long overdue reform to Belmont’s Business License Tax structure — one which currently unfairly burdens our small business owners. In fact, some of our lowest income business owners are currently paying 50 TIMES the tax rate of some of our highest earners. By voting YES on Measure DD, you are voting for Belmont to change to a more fair, just, and simple system.
