Where Are Your Districts?
We all love the whole City of Belmont. Within the boundaries of that whole city, though, there are four individual Districts — and each District votes for its own City Councilmember.
Additionally, the City of Belmont is also a part of the County of San Mateo — which has its own District divisions. The City of Belmont, kinda weirdly, is divided between two San Mateo County Districts. Each San Mateo County District elects its own representative to the Board of County Supervisors.
And more additionally, our Belmont-Redwood Shores School District (BRSSD) has now also divided into voting districts, as is our Sequoia Union High School District (SUHSD).
Click on the map image below to enjoy this interactive, overlaid Google map that shows you all of those districts clearly! Clicking on the white rectangle to the top left of the map title will allow you to sort through your district options. Thanks to my teenager for creating these maps!
